JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mechanical Fitter required to work for a Facilities Management company to cover planned and preventative maintenance on a commercial building in Wythenshawe. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Mechanical Fitter who has a level 3 qualification to join the team on a static basis. This role will be 40 hours a week 8am - 4.30pm, Monday-Friday. Any hours over 40 paid at x1.5. Overtime available.

As mechanical fitter you will be supporting the operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment and installations within the commercial building. You will be the specialist who will provide technical engineering advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, fabric and utility services.

Daily responsibilities will include:

Planned and preventative maintenance

 Carrying out repairs and new works to a high standard

 Fault diagnosis

LTHW Heating Systems

 Hot Water Calorifiers Refrigeration

 Air Handling Units/Ventilation Systems

 Compressed Air and Medical Gas Systems

Requirements for the role

Heating and Ventilation Level 3 or similar

 Multi Skilled

This role is initially temporary with the view to going permanent. The rate for this role is £19.00 - £20.00 per hour. Overtime and On call also available as well as opportunities to progress/do additional qualifications. If interested or want to hear more, please send your CV or call 07594 519032
