As the coronavirus pandemic has progressed, it has created several challenges for families of construction workers across the UK.

The Lighthouse Club Charity has sought to combat that with its latest appeal, looking to directly assist those households that need help now.

Today Daniel Owen pledged an annual commitment to the Lighthouse Club and joined many other businesses in easing those challenges faced by many across the country.

Phil Andrews, CEO of Daniel Owen, commented,

“The Lighthouse Club has long been a pillar for the families of construction workers, with this latest appeal quickly serving those in the sector that need it most. With over 80,000 work-related injuries reported every year, the current pandemic has given additional strain to some challenging conditions.

We’re proud to join other businesses during these extraordinary times in supporting the construction sector and applaud The Lighthouse Club for acting so swiftly with this appeal.”

100% of the campaign’s proceeds will be going directly to those families that need it, and we invite others to help the appeal with its momentum during this unprecedented period.
