About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join their team in Malvern on a contract basis. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of carpentry tasks, including construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fittings. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects with a competitive hourly rate of £24.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to project specifications.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinetry, and moulding.
• Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and installation processes.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Ideally, hold an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
