About the Role:

Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable 13T Excavator Driver to join their team in Derby on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 13-ton excavator to perform a variety of excavation tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects with a competitive hourly rate of £24.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 13-ton excavator efficiently and safely on construction sites.
• Perform excavation, trenching, and grading tasks according to project specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on the excavator.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices on site.
• Assist with other tasks as required, including site preparation and material handling.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating a 13-ton excavator with a strong track record of safe and efficient operation.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for excavator operation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and site layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
