Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Dual Trade Joiner to join an in‑house reactive maintenance team in Trafford, Greater Manchester. This is a 12‑week temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on performance. You will work within the Responsive Repairs team, supporting housing stock across the Northwest.

Contract Details

• Position: Dual Trade Joiner (Temp to Perm)

• Hours: 36.25 per week

• Rate: £19 per hour (Temp)

• Contract: 12‑week temporary, with potential to move permanent

• Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester

• Mobile role - van provided for business use

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs across housing stock

• Internal and external door fitting

• Splice repairs and general locksmith work

• Bathroom sub‑floor repairs and bath panel installation

• Kitchen framework repairs and refits

• General maintenance and multi‑trade duties

• Deliver a right‑first‑time service to residents

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

• Participate in out‑of‑hours rota (additional pay provided)

Requirements

• Recognised trade qualification in carpentry/joinery

• Proven experience in maintenance or responsive repairs

• Strong multi‑trade skills

• Excellent customer service approach

• Health and safety awareness

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Own hand tools required (power tools provided)

• Previous experience in a similar role
