We are working with a well-regarded national housing provider who is looking to appoint an experienced and self-driven Stock Condition Surveyor Manager to lead the strategic delivery of their property data and lifecycle asset planning-on a fully remote basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior surveying professional who thrives on autonomy, is confident managing large datasets and survey programmes, and is passionate about improving housing quality and compliance across a diverse portfolio.
Role Overview:
As Stock Condition Surveyor Manager, you will be responsible for managing the rolling programme of stock condition surveys, ensuring data quality and consistency across thousands of homes. You'll provide the insight and leadership required to drive capital investment planning, support Decent Homes and Net Zero targets, and inform long-term asset management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate stock condition survey delivery across the housing portfolio, working with internal teams and external survey partners.
Lead on data management, validation, and analysis using asset management systems (such as Keystone, PIMSS, or Apex).
Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards to inform strategic investment and lifecycle planning.
Support compliance with housing standards, including Decent Homes, EPC requirements, and HHSRS.
Work collaboratively with asset strategy, repairs, and compliance teams to align data with operational goals.
Ensure survey methodology and data integrity standards are maintained across the board.
Candidate Profile:
Significant experience managing stock condition surveys and asset data within a social housing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of building components, lifecycle planning, and housing standards.
Excellent skills in data analysis, reporting, and asset management software.
Prior experience managing survey programmes and working with external surveying consultants.
HNC/HND or Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline; professional accreditation (e.g. RICS/CIOB) is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with remote teams, and take a lead on programme delivery.
Why Apply:

This is an excellent fit for someone with strong surveying, analytical, and programme leadership experience who wants to operate at a strategic level while working remotely. Apply now or get in touch to discuss further.
