Job Title: Plumber - Temp to Perm
Rate: £22.62 per hour
Location: North London

About the Role

You will join the maintenance team servicing social housing stock on behalf of our local authority. You will undertake planned and responsive plumbing maintenance in occupied homes and communal areas. After a temporary period, this role will potentially move to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out full range of plumbing repairs and installations (e.g., taps, toilets, baths/showers, pipework, radiators)

• Attend day-to-day maintenance tasks in a social housing environment

• Work in occupied properties, applying high levels of customer care

• Ensure all work is compliant with health & safety and regulatory standards

• Record work via handheld devices or work order system

What We're Looking For

• Qualified plumber (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)

• Previous experience in maintenance or social housing repairs desirable

• Full UK driving licence (and willingness to travel across the patch)

• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work independently

• Good fault-finding, time-management and prioritisation skills
