A Waste Management Advisor position is available for those with a passion for waste management and customer service. This full-time role offers the opportunity to assist and advise customers on waste disposal while maximising recycling rates.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and advise customers with the recycling and disposal of waste materials at designated sites.
• Ensure proper separation of waste streams to facilitate recycling efforts.
• Maintain clean loads of recyclates and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing queries and complaints.
• Support the achievement of targeted recycling rates and maintain positive customer relationships.

Experience:

• Previous experience in the waste industry or similar manual working environments.
• Demonstrated experience working with customers face-to-face and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with working in environments where Health and Safety is a key concern.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of Health and Safety directives and Safe Systems of Work.
