Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known social housing organisation based in the South-East London who are looking for a highly skilled Voids Surveyor to join their team for an ASAP start.

They are looking for an experienced Surveyor who is experienced in surveying properties within a social housing repairs/maintenance setting.

• Carry out surveys and property inspections and oversee the delivery of subcontracted repairs to ensure repairs are highlighted and completed in accordance with agreed standards and time frames
• Ensuring value for money is achieved through the delivery of effective procurement and management of repairs
• Firm Understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works and building maintenance surveying background would be desirable
• Diagnosing the cause of complex faults and failures and post inspect works to ensure high-quality optimum works are delivered in budget, on time, safely and to a high standard whilst achieving and maintaining customer satisfaction KPI's.
• Previous experience working in the social housing/local authority sector
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach to work
• Proven track record for being Reliable and punctual
• Must hold a valid driving licence

• Social Housing, Building Contractor and local authority industry knowledge
• IT and Excel Literate
