Our client are expanding focus on woodland management, They are seeking a full-time Woodland Officer with expertise in woodland consultancy, preferably a chartered forester or forestry graduate. The ideal candidate should possess meticulous attention to detail, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proficiency in crafting and implementing Woodland Management Plans (WMPs). We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a degree or equivalent industry experience who is passionate about their work.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership and administrative teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality work. As the Woodland Officer, your responsibilities will include managing an existing portfolio of woodlands for clients, overseeing various aspects of woodland management, such as WMP creation, grant applications, felling licenses, and maintaining day-to-day client relationships. You will work closely with operational teams to implement harvesting and forestry projects, as well as explore new business opportunities.

This full-time position is site-based in the South of England, with a weekly commitment of 40-50 hours. The salary ranges from £34,000 to £48,000, depending on experience. Employment benefits include 28 days of holiday (including Bank Holidays), a NEST company pension, and a company vehicle.
