We have a new opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to work with an independently owned Building and Property Consultancy in Birmingham city centre. This firm's focus is very much the relationship with the client - for them the client absolutely comes first and they believe the future growth of the firm will come from providing a first rate service to the client. We're looking for a similar focus in the Assistant Project Manager that will join them. They aim to deliver innovative yet practice solutions and have successfully built a loyal base of key clients in doing this.
Their clients are chiefly investors, developers, fund managers or occupiers and they provide a very comprehensive range of Building Surveying and Project Management services. As part of your progression initially this role will involve some Contract Administration work on smaller schemes however in the longer term you will have the opportunity to get more involved in large new build and refurbishment schemes taking on a Project Management role.
We are ideally looking for an Assistant Project Manager with at least 1-2 years experience in Construction Project Management ideally in a client side / consultancy / private practice environment. You will also need to be a recent graduate in a Construction Project Management degree course or be currently working towards this whilst gaining industry experience. We are though looking for someone with the right client focus and passion about delivering high standards and demonstrating a genuine enthusiasm to carve out a successful career in Construction Project Management.
