Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Contracts Supervisor on behalf of a SME Facilities Management client based in the City of London.
Contracts Supervisor- Facilities Management
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 plus travel/car allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities of a Contracts Supervisor
· Assist with the daily delivery, implementation and on-going development of each of the contracts
. Maintain a safe working environment for engineers, end users on site and general public at all times
· Deputise for Contract Manager during periods of absence
. Handle smaller calibre of contracts for the Contract Manager.
· Provide technical and practical support to all engineers
· Ongoing site monitoring of H&S compliance which includes inspections and compliance checks
· Produce risk / method statements (RAMS) as required to safely complete works
· Carry out site visits as required, look at works with a view to estimating time and materials
· Quoting works as well as giving detailed breakdowns while defining exclusions and limitations of quotes to clients
· Ensure labour resources are planned for the works and coordinated.
· Ensuring daily checks on labour resourcing are carried out to ensure smooth running of jobs and minimal waste of labour time onsite
· Check documentation / paperwork has been submitted and completed correctly
· Provide additional onsite support where required
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Essential
· Experience handling Contracts
· Professional and confident in a client facing environment
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
· Ability to work well on own or as part of team
· Full driving licence
