Daniel Owen are currently working with an established Regional Contractor who specialise in a diverse range of Build projects in the Residential and Commercial sectors within the Bristol and surrounding areas.

This is great opportunity to join a growing company in the region who have been awarded many new projects in 2018. As contracts manager you will be required to manage the process from pre-tender to completion on projects within an hours commute from Bristol Central.

This role would suit someone who is a driven individual with a forward-thinking mind-set, keen on delivering projects with an eye for detail. With plenty of new projects on the horizon, there is a solid opportunity for growth within a well-established and growing company.

Daily responsibilities of a Contracts Manager ll include:

- Financial Monitoring and Control of Contracts

- Ensuring HS+E procedures are in line with Company Standards

- Ensure commercial engagement of Sub-contractors

- Implement Risk Management process

- Attend handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to site team

- Procurement of Materials

- Ensure Quality Assurance and maintaining best practice

- Build and maintain relationships with client

- Ensure timely management of project to ensure deadlines are reached

Requirements for the role of a Contracts Manager

  • Experience in managing small to medium sized projects from £1 - 4 million
  • Experience with managing projects within the residential and commercial sector
  • Good Knowledge of contract conditions, along with Design, Program and Risk Management
  • Experience of the pre-qualification and tendering process
  • A valid CSCS card
  • Valid SMSTS
  • Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent
