Job Description

I am looking for several Covid Marshalls to start work in the Durham area. My client has a number of static sites in the area that they need assistance on.

Due to local guidelines my client is looking for assistance on a number of sites they have in the Durham area. Specifically, they are looking for candidates who have had an abundance of experience dealing with customers in a customer service role or a client facing role. Ideally, they are very interested in speaking with people who have had a great deal of experience managing large groups of people in a professional manner.

In summary, the job role will expect to see candidates politely advising members of the public the current rules and regulations surrounding the Coronavirus. This is not to enforce the law, but will be representing my client in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Advice and guidance will be provided to both locals and local business owners. Candidates must have the experience and confidence to be able to approach these situations courteously.

Work is due to start in the following weeks on an ongoing basis.

Successful candidates can expect to patrol the following 'hotspots':

  • Leisure centres
  • Sporting venues
  • Large Retail Centres
  • Public parks
  • Schools
  • University Buildings including student accommodation
  • Local businesses

Please note, candidates will not be expected to enter inside these buildings but will patrol public areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for people looking to help make a difference in the local community and for work up until at least March.

Candidates should be free and available to work to a full time rota across any five of a seven day rota. This will include weekend and evening work where required.

If you are interested, please apply within or call Abigail on 0191 814 1360 / 07912274473. The next stage of the process will be to obtain references and right to work documents, so please ensure you have these readily available. Circa 11.10p/h. Approx 37 hours per week with option of overtime if desired.
