Job Description
I am delighted to be working with one of the UK's fastest growing / highly respected developers of new build Social Housing. They are currently expanding their Technical Department with the appointment of a Engineering Coordinator.
Candidates will take full Engineering accountability for a number of schemes (typically 40 - 60 units per site), primarily instructing and coordinating external Consultants. Key accountability will include:
- Developing strong working relationships with Site Teams, and attending Site during Construction Phase
- Instruct and allocate work to, and coordinate external Consultancy partners
- Attend meetings with Planning and Highways related stakeholders
- Adoption management for roads and sewers
- Management of Section agreements
- Attending pre-start meetings
- Obtain technical approvals
- Utility control - PAS128 surveys, existing and proposed design
- Engineering Ground investigations- remediation strategies/ S.I reports
