Job Description
I am looking for an Estate Manager to join a buzzing team for a leading Housing Association based in the East London/ Essex area. As Estates Manager you will be ensuring the site looks good, monitoring the monthly PPM schedule and leading planned and reactive works programmes from start to finish. You will problem solve, advise and make recommendations in regards to the technical services, repairs and improvements.
The team:
You will be responsible for a team of grounds staff, cleaners and security who operate over 5 acres which include office space, new build flat sites, car parks and gardens.
Salary and benefits:
£35-40K dependant on experience plus pension scheme
30 days holiday plus bank holidays

Requirements
- A background in a technical trade or as a facilities maintenance engineer
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- The ability to trouble-shoot mechanical or maintenance systems breakdowns
- A good understanding of health and safety principles
- Good at people management
- An excellent communicator and team player
- Good with organisation and planning and able to prioritise your work and work of others
- Confident to act on own judgement
Desired but not essential:
- A professional trade qualification such as air conditioning, electrical, plumbing or other
- Experience working in a facilities environment
- A NEBOSH qualification or the willingness to be trained
