Job Description

Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor opportunity with a renowned Construction Consultancy in Birmingham.

This is a new opportunity, based in Birmingham city centre, with a leading UK based Project Management, Cost Management and Building Consultancy offering over 40 years experience in the Construction and Property Industry. This is an award winning and widely recognised firm with an outstanding portfolio of projects. Their clients include developers, end users and property firms with projects in commercial and industrial sectors, private residential and housing, universities and student accommodation to name but a few. They support their clients through the whole development process and focus on providing an outstanding service as well as supporting a people-orientated working environment that is both highly professional and fun.

We're looking for a talented trainee or Graduate level Quantity Surveyor to commence their training with this firm either after graduation or before on a part time basis. Their highly talented team of Quantity Surveyors deliver a full range of PQS services which would include Employer's Agent duties, as well as the full pre and post contract PQS role. This firm can offer you both the opportunity to work on some interesting and varied projects, as well as a great team environment and relaxed culture. Their training, and professional development are exemplary and the team in Birmingham constantly delivers very high profile, multi-million pound projects across the region. Their name has been linked to some of the best known projects in the region so if you are looking to for an opportunity to work with the best, gain great experience, and in due course deliver a varied range of projects within a great team then look no further.

We are looking for a graduate completing their degree this year (i.e. graduating in 2019) and we would anticipate a qualification at degree level or equivalent in a related discipline such as Quantity Surveying or similar, ideally in a RICS accredited course. You will either be looking now for a permanent graduate trainee appointment after completion of your studies, or alternatively this firm would also consider an earlier part time trainee appointment alongside your final year of study, to be negotiated.
