Job Description

Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor to work in a 5 star hotel on behalf of a global Facilities Management client in Park Lane, London.

Housekeeping Supervisor- Facilities Management

Location: W1H 1BE

Salary: £14 per hour

Hours: 8:30am- 6pm, 5 days a week, rota basis

This is a Temporary to Permanent role.

Key Duties of a Housekeeping Supervisor:

  • Manage overall daily operations of the Linen Room
  • Ensure quality controls are in place for all linen processes, rejecting any exceptions
  • Maintain cleanliness of the linen area
  • Train, develop, and appraise the housekeeping team
  • Ensure linen and housekeeping supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Business and Events
  • Carry out stock takes
  • Ensure par stocks are maintained
  • Take receipt of stock and ensure safe storage
  • Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively
  • Oversee the issuing of linen via a requisition system
  • Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
  • Carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotel's management

Requirements for a Housekeeping Supervisor:

  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Previous hotel or leisure sector experience
  • Previous experience at Supervisory level
