My client is currently looking for Operations Projects Manager asap!

Fixed Term contract paying £50-53K.

The right candidate MUST have Operations Management experience and ideally come from the Commercial Property sector.

  • To be the first point of contact for centre managers regarding client, building or team issues. To escalate where necessary to the Director of Business centres and communicate effectively to all relevant parties
  • Reporting to the Director of Business Centres on a weekly basis to cover all centre matters
  • Reporting directly to the Director of Business Centres and seeking approval for centre related costs
  • First line support for performance reviews in certain dedicated centres
  • Ensure smooth operation of the day to day running of business centres
  • Providing first level support to the centre managers, ensuring the 'Service Success Chain' is being adhered to at all times
  • To ensure that all and meetings policies and processes are adhered to in all centres
  • To deal with customer requests in a prompt and timely manner
  • To liaise with relevant staff to ensure that all client queries are responded to within procedural deadlines
  • To provide administrative support as and when required
  • Cover Centre Manager role where necessary at any given centre
  • To oversee and manage building openings and closures, liaising with the Business Centre Management team and Assets, IT etc
  • To deliver operational or business centre projects, to communicate effectively with all relevant parties
  • To conduct audits of BE and & Offices public areas and vacant offices
  • To conduct audits of centre administrative functions to ensure operational consistency and revenue protection
  • To assist in responding to voice of the client satisfaction surveys and to carry our remedial action and service recovery to ensure client satisfaction
  • To be able to provide an effective handover to anyone covering your role whilst you are away
  • Support newly appointed Centre Managers by overseeing and liaising where necessary, while they learn Company processes.

  • Experience of working at a senior level with departmental and budgetary responsibility
  • Experience in reporting into senior management and taking instructions
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • To support the recruitment needs of the business centres
  • As and when required, to carry out basic HR matters concerning the business centres
  • Previous experience in closing buildings
  • Ability to resolve contractual and commercial problems
  • Getting goods and services for the best price and value
  • Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Able to succeed in difficult situations in a professional manner
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Confident in own ability and using initiative to resolve matters
  • To understand the principles of Health and Safety and Security procedures
  • To complete audits of vacant offices and produce inventories on office spaces
  • Communicate maintenance requests to the appropriate parties
  • To support our Service Success Chain
  • Local area and basic product knowledge
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Qualification and Education - GCSE's or above in Business related area - Essential

Skills and Abilities - Proficient in Word and Outlook - Essential

Excellent telephone communication skills - Essential

Face-to face customer services skills - Essential

Competent on Powerpoint - Desirable
