Job Description

Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Property Manager on behalf of a charity and registered housing provider in and around East London as well as across London as a whole.

Property Manager- Facilities Management

Job Type: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Location: In and around London, City of London, East London etc.

Salary: £41,563 per annum

The Property Manager role is a Full Time, Monday to Friday position within a permanent contract with 40 hours maximum a week. You will need to be flexible as you may be required to work weekends when needed.

Key initial objectives for the Property Manager are:

  • To ensure operational delivery of continued 100% Health and Safety compliance alongside good risk management as the lift out of lockdown takes place.
  • To agree the approach with the Head of Property Management and the Head of Health and Safety in responding to the upcoming Building and Fire Safety bills.
  • To embed harmonisation across the East London sites for the in house provision of maintenance and housekeeping.
  • To work with Head of Property Management and collaborate with Operations in the transfer of reception and night cover duties to their service from Property Management.
  • To set a culture of continuous improvement in delivering first class repairs, maintenance and void service to our internal and external customers

Personal Specification Required for a Property Manager:

  • Thorough understanding of the areas for which the role is responsible: Property Management and Building Safety
  • Iosh / Nebosh equivalent Health and safety qualification or the ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety building compliance, legislation, quality management systems, design and implementation
  • Proven experience as Property Manager (3 years minimum)
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Strong contract management experience with high expectations
  • Able to work unsocial hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays (if required)
