Client

Our client is leading developer in the UK and have been established over 50 years. They work with a passion for not just building homes, but creating vibrant sustainable communities.

We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to become a part of their Southern Region. You will be based in their Chertsey office, covering sites across the division.

Our client are seeing promising growth and profit figures across our divisions. Great care is always taken to ensure the end product is one of quality, sustainability and innovative design. A career with this organisation is both challenging and rewarding, and with large investments currently being made to drive learning and development, as well as fantastic national growth plans, now is a great time to join them.

In this role your primary responsibilities will be on post-occupation properties, assessing the quality and potential defects in our construction method, materials and fittings. Emphasis will be on identifying, recording and preventing issues reoccurring, reporting findings directly to build team, ensuring appropriate action is taken to source materials and methods that complies with their quality standards.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be checking the sign off of Build Completion Certificate, identifying training needs among customer facing staff, and ensuring best practice is adhered to and any problems that are reported are dealt with quickly, with minimal impact on the customer.

You will proactively oversee and produce component performance reports, and conducting mandatory checks at all stages of construction, ensuring compliance of design and working practice.

To be successful, you will be expected to constantly work to improve our clients build patterns, suggesting any improvements or additions which could positively impact the staff, the customers, the end product and the build process as a whole.
