Job Type: Contract
Start date: Immediate
Industry: Building & Construction
Salary: GBP 10.50 during training - £13.50 once fully trained
Our client are seeking to hire Roadmaster® Operator/ Drivers to join their team for the 2020 season.
The Roadmaster™ Patcher Machine is a self-contained unit carrying bitumen emulsion and aggregate (stone chips). The Operator/ Driver, working from the cab of the truck, controls the delivery of a mix of bitumen emulsion and stone chips to the repair area. Our customers are primarily local authorities throughout England, Scotland and Wales so you must have the flexibility to work away from home on a regular basis.
This role reports to the Operations Manager and due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will work in close cooperation with the Local Authority road engineers.
The role will consist of operating the Roadmaster™ Patcher Machine to carry out road maintenance and surface patching on client sites. This requires the ability to report work using a tablet or smart phone, so good IT skills are necessary.

Successful candidates will be required to be presentable at all times and have an ability to interact well with members of the public, work colleagues and customers. All operators must pass a Safety Critical Medical and random drug & alcohol testing may be carried out during your employment by the Company or by our customers.
