Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy. This role will be based in our clients Birmingham office and results directly from ongoing expansion within the team. This firm works with clients in a number of key markets across Building and Property and can offer a varying range of projects many several million pounds in contract value. They are also passionate proponents of the importance of bringing innovative thinking to the Quantity Surveying / Cost Consultancy role and also believe firmly in the importance of a diverse and inclusive work place. The successful candidate will be working alongside an Associate or Director to deliver various capital projects and will cover the entire project lifecycle from initial inception and business case through design and procurement onto site delivery and completion. You will also actively support and mentor more junior team members. We would anticipate a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be professionally qualified (Mrics) and therefore be able to support more junior team members through the APC process as well as acting as line manager to a small team. Naturally this is a client facing role which will also require you to maintain and develop good relationships with clients, ensuring a high quality service delivery and to therefore uphold the outstanding reputation this firm already enjoys.
