Job Description

Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity with an independently owned and highly regarded Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham city centre. They have a great reputation, a varied workload and you will enjoy working within this friendly and outgoing team.

This firm considers it's business is their people and they are very proud of the relationships they build and the quality of service they deliver. In providing a multi-disciplined service to a range of clients, one of their greatest strengths is their ability to find, develop, motivate and nurture the finest calibre of people at all levels, so you can rest assured this will provide an outstanding platform upon which to build a successful career in Construction.

As many of the clients serviced from the Birmingham office are in the further education, leisure, residential and commercial development sector, you will at least initially be focused on work in these areas. This provides a wide range of experience and challenge and they can offer an exciting range of projects including some very large and high profile projects.

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, likely to be fully professionally qualified (Mrics) at this level. You will be responsible for the consistently high quality provision of Commercial Services to clients crossing the full span of pre and post contract Quantity Surveying duties. We'd also expect a senior member of the Quantity Surveying team to act as mentor and support to more junior members of the team as they progress towards their APC and as with all roles of this nature it is very much a client facing position so strong presentation and communication skills are also essential.
