OUR 2026 WORKER OF THE YEAR🎉
Meet Lisa, a traffic marshal from Taunton who has earned exceptional recognition for the vital work she does every day
Lisa manages one of the most demanding roles on any construction site - ensuring the safety of school children on a busy housing development whilst coordinating between three contractors and maintaining positive relationships with the local community.
💬 Gemma Phillips, who nominated Lisa, shared:
"Lisa has to balance being firm when safety is at risk, whilst remaining approachable and calm under pressure. She has this incredible ability to defuse tense situations and keep everyone working together safely (sometimes with Bruno the dog by her side!).
What really stands out is her consistency - no matter how challenging the day, Lisa always has a smile and brings a sense of calm to site. She's someone everyone trusts and respects."

Celebrating Rowan, our Sector Star for Construction! 🌟
Rowan’s journey with us is special. Over 20 years ago, he started his very first telehandler role after passing his CPCS. Since then, he has built a reputation that speaks for itself.
Rowan shows the same drive and commitment every single day. He never misses a shift, regularly volunteers for Saturdays, and is always ready to help around site.
Nothing is ever too much or too small for him to take on.
His loyalty sets him apart. Despite being offered work almost daily for his operator skills, Rowan chose to commit to the long-term contract. The feedback from the client speaks for itself:
