Building Surveyor - Consultancy

Building Surveyor - new opportunity with a multi disciplinary consultancy in the west midlands.

We're looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the Building Consultancy team of a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. The successful candidate will ideally from a consultancy / private practice background. A degree in Building Surveying is required, and we are ideally looking for full professional qualification - i.e. MRICS, although if you are still working towards this there is great support on offer. Strong communication skills are essential as this is a client facing role and we are looking for someone who enjoys a good level of autonomy. Whilst based in Birmingham there will potentially be some time spent in our clients East Midlands office, particularly over the first few weeks / months in the role.

Instructions are from clients in a number of sectors which include Education, industrial and commercial schemes with contract values up to around £5 million, working for interesting clients including motor manufacturers, aerospace manufacturers, Schools / Universities, contractors and developers etc. Whilst the role will ultimately include all aspects of building surveying there is more of a bias towards project work / contract administration.
