Carpenter

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to work on busy construction sites across Reading and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of carpentry tasks on residential and commercial building projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out first fix and second fix carpentry on construction sites

• Install stud walls, joists, flooring, doors, frames, skirting, and architraves

• Read and work from site drawings and plans

• Work alongside site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with site regulations

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card (essential)

• Proven experience working as a carpenter on construction sites

• Ability to complete both first fix and second fix carpentry

• Own tools required

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team

• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
