Position: Carpenter

Location: South Birmingham

Contract Type: Temporary - minimum 5 weeks

Start date: Monday 20^th April

Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to support an upcoming pub fit-out project, carrying out both 1st and 2nd fix works in South Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a fast-paced fit-out environment, working on a live refurbishment project with a strong pipeline of further work available.

The Role:

• 1st fix carpentry (studwork, framing, structural elements)
• 2nd fix carpentry (doors, skirting, architraves, finishes)
• Working as part of a fit-out team on a commercial pub project
• Ensuring high standards of workmanship and site safety

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 1st & 2nd fix carpentry
• Previous experience on fit-out or refurbishment projects (ideally pubs, bars, or commercial interiors)
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to work to drawings and specifications
• Reliable, professional, and able to work to programme deadlines
