Job Title: UPVC Carpenter

Salary: £41,200 per annum

Location: North London

Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

A skilled UPVC Carpenter is required to join a leading social housing maintenance contractor covering North London.

The role will involve carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties. The successful candidate will have strong experience in UPVC installations and repairs, including doors, windows, locks, hinges and associated carpentry works. Previous experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance environments is essential.

Daily responsibilities of a UPVC Carpenter are:

• Carrying out UPVC repairs and replacements to doors and windows
• Undertaking associated carpentry maintenance works within domestic properties
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently on first visit where possible
• Providing a high level of customer service to residents
• Using a PDA system to organise and complete jobs
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements

Requirements of a UPVC Carpenter:

• Must have previous UPVC door and window repair experience
• Must have previous social housing experience
• Must have experience of using a PDA
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
• Strong customer service skills
