The Role
Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter Multi to join a busy Repairs and Maintenance team in Birmingham.
This role requires a multi-skilled tradesperson with a strong carpentry background, alongside experience in plumbing and plastering. You will be working across social housing properties, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services.
This is a temporary position for an initial 12 weeks, offering a competitive hourly rate of £20-£23.
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Base Location: South Birmingham (with local travel required)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance works within social housing properties
- Deliver high-quality workmanship across carpentry, plumbing, and plastering tasks
- Take ownership of jobs and aim for first-time fixes where possible
- Complete work within set budgets and timeframes
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi
- Strong multi-trade skillset (carpentry, plumbing, plastering)
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 5 points)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
Desirable:
- Experience working within social housing environments
