Customer Liaison Officer (Temporary - 6 Months)
Location: Leeds (covering Leeds, Bradford, Scarborough & North Yorkshire)
Start Date: Immediate
Rate: 14.40 PAYE (Holiday with pay) - 16.13 PIR (Holiday rolled in to rate)
Our client is seeking a Customer Liaison Officer to support a major social housing retrofit and energy efficiency programme across Yorkshire. This is a full-time temporary role for an initial 6-month period, with potential to become permanent. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, handling enquiries professionally
- Arrange access to properties and follow up on no-access cases
- Support resident and community engagement initiatives
- Clearly communicate works, timelines, and updates to customers
- Resolve access or resident issues efficiently, escalating where required
- Maintain accurate records of communications and project activity
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with resilience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience within the social housing sector
