Painter & Decorator (Damp & Mould Operative)
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum + benefits
Location: Westminster (field-based)
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (6 Months FTC)

About the Role

A leading property services organisation is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator with damp and mould experience to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance across residential properties.

The role involves carrying out mould treatments and decorating works in both occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out damp and mould treatments in residential properties
• Complete painting and decorating tasks including emulsion, glossing, and papering
• Deliver responsive, planned, and maintenance works
• Ensure high-quality finishes and excellent customer satisfaction
• Use handheld devices to receive and complete tasks (training provided)
• Work in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Complete works within agreed timescales

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in painting & decorating within housing or property maintenance
• Knowledge of damp and mould treatments
• Experience working in occupied and void properties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong focus on quality and customer service

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Craft / Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent)
• CSCS Card (Blue or working towards)

Additional Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
• Willingness to travel as part of the role
