Job Title: Lead Electrician
Location: Southeast London (occasional travel to Norwich & Ipswich)
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrician to carry out installation, maintenance and fault-finding work across council properties. The role is mainly based in Southeast London with occasional travel to Norwich and Ipswich.

Works will include installing and maintaining electrical systems, heat pumps and storage heaters, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical installation and maintenance in domestic council properties

• Installation of heat pumps and storage heaters

• Fault finding and diagnostics

• Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations

• Completing work in occupied and void properties

Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Installation

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• 2391 Testing & Inspection

• NAPIT or NICEIC registered

• Experience in domestic or social housing properties

• Full UK driving licence
