Salary: £45,480.78 per annum
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join a well-established organisation within the social housing sector, recognised for delivering high standards of service.
In this role, you will carry out electrical repairs and maintenance within residents' homes, helping to ensure properties remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained. Your work will directly contribute to supporting local communities and delivering a dependable, high-quality service that residents can rely on.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out responsive maintenance, cyclical works, refurbishment projects, void property repairs, and general servicing.
- Using a PDA or similar device to manage workloads, update job progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Diagnosing electrical faults efficiently and identifying the most effective and cost-efficient repair solutions.
- Ordering and organising materials as required to complete works.
- Completing all tasks in line with company standards, current regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Delivering a professional, respectful, and customer-focused service when working in occupied properties.
- Participating in a rotational on-call rota to support emergency repairs outside normal working hours.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382-22)
- City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)
- City & Guilds Inspection and Testing (2391-52) or equivalent (desirable)
