Permanent - Full Time - 40 Hours

Our client, a well-established and growing social housing contractor, is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their repairs and maintenance team, working across residential properties within the Waltham Forest area of London.

About the Role

Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs, testing, inspection, and installation works across a portfolio of occupied social housing properties.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within a domestic maintenance environment and be confident carrying out electrical installations, EICRs, fault finding, testing, and general electrical maintenance. You will be able to work independently, manage your workload effectively, and provide excellent customer service to residents.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must hold one of the following relevant qualifications:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment)
  • City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2
  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

In addition, candidates must hold:

  • BS7671 Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
