Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a project East Grinstead.

The ideal candidate will have experience in occupied buildings, distribution boards and risers, safe isolation, 24V controls, MID meters/CTs, BMS, HVAC, and VRF systems

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications and current regulations
• Undertake distribution board modifications and electrical riser works
• Install and connect secondary low voltage HVAC power supplies and control systems
• Install transformers, miniature circuit breakers, cabling, and containment systems
• Complete installation of VRF metering arrangements, including MID-approved meters and CTs
• Install electrical supplies to roof-mounted cabinets and associated equipment
• Carry out safe isolation procedures, inspection, testing, and certification of completed works
• Produce accurate documentation, including labelling, photographs, test records, and redline drawings
• Work safely and efficiently within an occupied commercial environment, minimising disruption to building users
• Support project delivery and ensure works are completed to programme and quality standards

Essential Requirements

• Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Recognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification
• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification
• Strong commercial installation experience, particularly with distribution boards and power distribution systems
• Experience working within occupied commercial premises
• Good understanding of HVAC, BMS, VRF systems, metering installations, and associated electrical infrastructure
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures and best practice
