Job Title- Estimator

Location- Rochdale

Salary- £60,000

Are you an estimator with experience of pricing planned works within social housing?

We are working with an established social housing contractor that are looking for an estimator for the pricing and bid assistance for planned works within the North West and Yorkshire.

As Estimator, you will;

• Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of detailed cost estimates and tender returns
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring best value and compliance
• Identify and assess commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation
• Attend site visits to inform pricing and understand project scope
• Contribute to pre-tender and post-tender meetings, negotiations, and clarifications
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and supply chain partners

As Estimator, it is required that you;

• Have proven experience as an estimator within a social housing environment
• Have a clear understanding of cost control and variations
• Ability to manage deadlines for multiple tenders at the same time
• Confidence to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients
