Fabric Engineer - Residential Development

Location: Large Residential Development
Hours: 5 Days Per Week, 8:00am to 5:00pm (flexible start times of 8:30am or 9:00am considered)

Dates: Monday 3rd August - Friday 7th August (could go on longer)

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Fabric Engineer to join the maintenance team at a large residential development comprising 6 tower blocks and approximately 500 apartments, along with a gym and pavilion facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service within an occupied residential environment. Candidates local to the site are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive maintenance within occupied apartments and communal areas
• General fabric maintenance and repairs
• Basic domestic plumbing repairs including:
  • Baths
  • Showers
  • Toilets
  • Sinks
• Minor electrical maintenance such as replacing:
  • Light switches
  • Socket outlets
• Supporting general in-house maintenance activities across the development
• Working professionally and courteously around residents, visitors and the general public

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Fabric Engineer or Maintenance Operative role
• Strong fabric maintenance background
• Good understanding of domestic plumbing systems
• Plumbing qualifications would be advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage daily maintenance tasks effectively
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with residents
