Fire Door Surveyor - Permanent Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Surveyor to join our growing team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional with previous fire door experience to play a key role in ensuring compliance and safety across a range of projects.

The Role

• Conducting detailed fire door surveys and inspections

• Assessing compliance with current fire safety regulations

• Identifying remedial works and producing clear, accurate reports

• Liaising with clients, site teams, and project managers

• Ensuring all documentation meets industry and regulatory standards

• Supporting project delivery teams with technical expertise

Projects will typically include commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, residential developments, and other public sector environments.

Requirements

Essential:

• FDSI Qualification

• Proven experience surveying and inspecting fire doors

• Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance standards

• Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills

• Full UK driving licence

Preferred:

• FIRAS accreditation

• Relevant fire safety or carpentry/joinery qualifications
