Job Title: Handyperson (Reactive Maintenance)
Location: West London (with occasional travel to Stratford and Greenwich)
Employment Type: Full-time, PAYE

Salary: £19-£20 per hour

Working Hours:

• Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

About the Role:
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Handyperson to carry out reactive maintenance works across residential properties. The role involves responding to day-to-day repair requests and ensuring a high standard of maintenance is delivered.

You will primarily work in West London, with occasional travel to Stratford and Greenwich. A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs in occupied properties
• Complete a variety of tasks including basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and minor repairs
• Diagnose issues and aim to resolve them on the first visit where possible
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintain clear communication with residents and the maintenance team
• Accurately record completed works and report any follow-up requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a handyman or multi-trade maintenance role
• Previous experience working in social housing is essential
• Good all-round skills across multiple trades (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, decorating)
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of health & safety practices
• Full UK driving licence required
