Job Summary

A Joiner is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fittings such as doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, and furniture. The role involves working with a variety of hand and power tools to produce high-quality woodwork according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.

• Install doors, window frames, staircases, skirting boards, and fitted furniture.

• Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.

• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter.

• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

• Valid CSCS Card ( Required)

• Physical fitness and ability to work on construction site
