A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Mobile HVAC Engineer to support a prestigious retail client across flagship stores in Central London. This role is accessible via public transport, with an Oyster card provided, and does not require driving.
What does a Mobile HVAC Engineer role entail?
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of HVAC systems in busy retail environments.
- Working independently and proactively to troubleshoot and fix issues efficiently.
- Liaising with clients on-site to ensure a high standard of service and smooth operations.
- Traveling between multiple high-profile retail locations across Oxford Street (East & West) and other nearby stores.
Requirements for the Mobile HVAC Engineer role:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC maintenance.
- Strong experience with both PPM and reactive works.
- Either Refrigeration OR Commercial Gas qualification (essential).
- Comfortable working in fast-paced retail environments.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and willing to go above and beyond.
- Must live within 30 minutes of Oxford Street.
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Previous retail or commercial environment experience.
- Experience working in a mobile role across multiple sites.
