Pay:

• £23 per hour (CIS) - Temporary Period

• £38,000 per annum - Permanent Salary

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Multi Trade Carpenter to join a leading housing provider delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties for local authorities and housing associations.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive and planned carpentry works in both occupied and void properties.

• Undertake a variety of carpentry tasks including door hanging, frame repairs, lock replacements, skirting, architraves, and kitchen unit adjustments.

• Complete associated multi-trade duties such as patch plastering, basic tiling, painting, and general making-good following repairs.

• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to maintain property standards and minimise disruption to residents.

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and organisational procedures.

• Use PDA devices to receive work orders, update job progress, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)

• Basic DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)

• Proven experience working within social housing or property maintenance

• Strong carpentry background with multi-trade capability

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
