We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established local contractor specialising in social housing maintenance. This role offers a great long-term position carrying out a variety of repairs, refurbishments, and general maintenance across domestic properties within Staines-upon-Thames.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out a range of reactive maintenance and repair works within occupied residential properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and full compliance with health and safety standards.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of fixtures and fittings, including bathroom components, pipework, joinery items, and general property fittings.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times, maintaining professionalism and clear communication with residents.
• Undertaking basic carpentry works as part of wider multi-trade maintenance duties.
• Carrying out wall tiling works to a high-quality finish, with strong attention to detail.
• Completing painting and decorating tasks associated with maintenance and refurbishment works.
• Using a PDA device to manage, update, and close work orders in real time, ensuring accurate recording of job progress, materials used, and completion notes.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
