Multi Trade Plumber - Social Housing Reactive Maintenance
Salary: £40,320 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

Location: Hackney, Ilford, North London & Hillingdon
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Trade Plumber to join our growing team working on a social housing reactive maintenance contract.

This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, a company van, fuel card, and the opportunity to work with a well-established social housing contractor.

The Role

You will be carrying out reactive maintenance and day-to-day repairs within occupied social housing properties. The ideal candidate will be confident completing plumbing works as well as additional multi-trade duties to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Fault finding and resolving plumbing issues
• Carrying out multi-trade works including:
  • Basic carpentry
  • Tiling
  • Patch plastering
  • Painting & decorating
• Working in occupied social housing properties
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Requirements

• NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing is essential
• Previous experience within social housing/reactive maintenance
• Good all-round multi-trade skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
