Job Title: Painter (IPAF) - Temporary Contract
Location: York
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 2 Weeks (Temporary)
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Painter with a valid IPAF licence to carry out painting works on the roof of an industrial unit. This is a short-term temporary contract expected to last approximately two weeks.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out external painting works on the roof of an industrial building
Operating powered access equipment safely (IPAF required)
Preparing surfaces prior to painting to ensure a high-quality finish
Applying coatings and finishes in line with project requirements
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting
Valid IPAF licence (essential)
Ability to work safely at height
Own PPE and basic painting tools preferred
Strong awareness of site health and safety practices
