BUS SHUNTER / YARD OPERATIVE - BRIDPORT

We are looking for a reliable Bus Shunter / Yard Operative to join our team in Bridport.

This is a slow-paced, independent role where you will be trusted to manage your own workload and take pride in keeping our fleet organised, clean, and ready for service.

Requirements

• Valid PCV Licence (essential)
• Reliable and safety-conscious
• Able to work independently
• Good attention to detail

Main Duties

• Shunting and moving buses around the depot and yard
• Cleaning and preparing vehicles
• Carrying out routine vehicle checks
• Assisting with the upkeep and presentation of a fleet of approximately 10 buses
• Supporting basic fleet maintenance activities
• Ensuring vehicles are parked, fuelled, and ready as required
• Keeping the yard tidy and organised
