We have an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Plumber to join a dedicated housing repairs and maintenance team in Ealing, carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance across residential properties while delivering a reliable, high-quality, and professional service to local residents.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out responsive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied residential properties.
- Diagnosing and repairing leaks, blockages, and drainage issues.
- Replacing taps, toilets, cisterns, basins, and other sanitary ware.
- Repairing and replacing pipework, valves, fittings, and associated plumbing components.
- Investigating and resolving issues with hot water systems, radiators, and associated plumbing installations.
- Ensuring all plumbing works are completed in accordance with current regulations, industry standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Recording job details, materials used, works completed, and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets.
- Removing, repairing, and replacing bath panels to facilitate access to pipework for leak detection and repairs, ensuring panels are securely refitted and finished to a professional standard.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
- Working respectfully and professionally within residents' homes, maintaining a clean, safe, and considerate working environment.
- Identifying and reporting additional repair requirements, safeguarding concerns, and property-related issues where appropriate.
- Participating in the out-of-hours emergency rota when required.
- Adhering to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and working practices.
- Providing a high level of customer care and maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
