Overview

Our client is a leading construction logistics specialist delivering complex logistics packages for Tier 1 contractors across commercial fit-out, infrastructure, and data centre projects throughout the UK and Europe.

The Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction logistics packages across multiple projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and programme-driven operations.

Working closely with Tier 1 contractors, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will manage logistics operations from pre-construction through to project completion.

The role will be predominantly London-based but will involve fortnightly travel across Europe to support the delivery of major data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Logistics Management

  • Managing construction logistics packages across commercial fit-out and data centre projects
  • Developing and implementing project-specific logistics strategies and delivery plans
  • Coordinating labour, plant, materials, and site resources
  • Managing logistics programmes in line with project milestones and construction sequencing
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget

Site Operations

  • Overseeing day-to-day logistics activities across multiple projects
  • Managing site access, deliveries, vehicle movements, and material handling operations
  • Coordinating lifting operations, waste management, hoists, and logistics compounds
  • Identifying and resolving operational challenges to maintain programme delivery
  • Supporting mobilisation and demobilisation activities

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory, client, and site-specific requirements
  • Reviewing RAMS and implementing safe systems of work
  • Conducting site inspections and supporting audit requirements

Reporting & Commercial Awareness

  • Producing project reports, resource plans, and progress updates
  • Monitoring project performance against programme and budget objectives
  • Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction logistics
  • Strong experience delivering logistics packages on construction projects
  • Experience working within commercial fit-out, major projects, infrastructure, or data centre environments
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and project stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to undertake regular European travel
  • Full UK Driving Licence
