Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, coordination, logistics, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
The role also carries full responsibility for health and safety planning and compliance on-site, ensuring adherence to company procedures and industry legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception through to completion, promoting a strong health and safety culture across the delivery team.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate high-volume project programmes to maximise efficiency and performance.
- Utilise digital systems and platforms to monitor progress, manage data, and ensure transparency.
- Lead the delivery of Warm Homes Wave 3 retrofit projects across social housing portfolios, ensuring compliance with programme targets, funding criteria, and PAS standards.
- Oversee the full retrofit lifecycle, including pre-start planning, contractor management, scheduling, delivery monitoring, and project close-out.
- Coordinate with clients, retrofit coordinators, assessors, contractors, and residents to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure all retrofit measures (e.g., insulation, heating systems, ventilation improvements) meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate and auditable project documentation aligned with funding and regulatory requirements.
- Manage document control processes, including technical reports, certifications, surveys, and compliance records.
- Handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced delivery environment with strong attention to detail.
- Organise and lead meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications.
- Enforce on-site safety through risk assessments and proactive risk management.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress updates.

- SMSTS certification
- First Aid at Work certification
